Men’s Tennis edged at Bluefield

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (March 20, 2023) – The Milligan University men's tennis team fell 4-3 at Bluefield in an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) matchup on Monday afternoon.

The Buffs fall to 7-9 overall and 3-3 in the AAC this season.

The Rams took wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to secure the match's opening point. Justin Rigsby and Juan Camilo Burgos scored Milligan's lone doubles victory with a 6-2 win at third doubles.

Krishan Teneja dropped the first set 7-6 but bounced back with 6-1 and 6-3 victories to pick up at point at No. 1 singles. Gabrijel Kajic took a 4-6, 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and Marcos Moreno took care of business in straight sets at sixth singles. Ryan Thomas went to here sets but fell at No. 5 singles 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Milligan men's tennis returns to action on Thursday afternoon at nationally-ranked Cumberland.
