Beasley and Lundberg Notch NAIA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar Plaudits

NORMAN, Okla. – On Thursday, the Milligan University men's golf squad had a pair of members named to the 2023-24 NAIA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar team, which consists of 61 NAIA men's golf athletes. Both Ty Beasley and Gustaf Lundberg were awarded the honor.

To be eligible for NAIA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in the NAIA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
