Francisco De Bethencourt earns NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week accolades

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Francisco De Bethencourt of Milligan has been named the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from April 1-7 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Francisco De Bethencourt of Milligan has been named the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from April 1-7 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Golfers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

Francisco De Bethencourt, Milligan (Tenn.) - FR

  • Claimed medalist honors at the Northeast Tennessee Shootout. 
  • Won the tournament by 7 strokes and was the only player under par.
  • Helped Milligan to the team title win as well.
