De Bethencourt earns AAC Golfer of the Week honors

WALESKA, Ga. (April 8, 2024) - Francisco De Bethencourt of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the 11th edition of the weekly honors for the 2023-24 season. The award will be announced on April 15.

Francisco De Bethcourt - Milligan - Freshman - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain

• Collected medalist honors at the Northeast Tennessee Shootout.
• Posted a two-round score of 6-under 138.
• Won by 7 strokes.
• Helped Milligan to a first-place team finish.
• Made the All-Tournament Team.
• This is his first weekly honor of the year.

The Buffs are back in action on Monday and Tuesday when they will participate in the Eagles Eagle Invitational at Griffin Gate, hosted by Midway (Ky.) at the Griffin Gate Golf Resort in Lexington, Ky.
