Lundberg, Castle named AAC Golfers of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Milligan University men's and women's golf brought home both of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) weekly awards as Gustaf Lundberg is the AAC Men's Golfer of the Week and Kate Castle is the AAC Women's Golfer of the Week.

The conference office announced the awards on Monday.

Lundberg earned the honor after helping Milligan finish fourth at the LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate. The junior fired a 1-under 215 at the three-round event to collect medalist honors.

This is Lundberg's first weekly award this season.

Castle helped Milligan to a second-place finish at the LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate. The junior made the All-Tournament Team after placing fourth with a 12-over 228 at the three-round event.

This is Castle's second weekly award this season. She previously received the award on Oct. 16.
