Men’s Golf finishes 3rd of 15 teams at Agnes McAmis Memorial
CHUCKEY, Tenn. (March 22, 2022) – The Milligan University men’s golf team turned in back-to-back 290 rounds to finish third out of 15 teams at the Agnes McAmis Memorial at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club on Tuesday.
CHUCKEY, Tenn. (March 22, 2022) – The Milligan University men's golf team turned in back-to-back 290 rounds to finish third out of 15 teams at the Agnes McAmis Memorial at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club on Tuesday.
As a team, Milligan finished four strokes over par for the 36-hole tournament at 580 strokes. First-place Tusculum and runner-up West Georgia were the only two teams at the event who also logged two rounds of 290 or below at the event.
Alvaro Huidobro was Milligan's top finisher in the 92-man field. He carded a two-under 70 to finish eighth at 143 strokes.
Ty Beasley fired a minus-one 71 to finish 17th at 146 strokes. Dane Rheinecker also tied for 17th at 146 (72-74).
Samuel Prater improved his standing by 12 spots as he fired a 75 on day two to finish tied for 51st. Jonathan Liggett joined Prater in 51st at 154 strokes.
Milligan returns to action in two weeks at the Eagle Invitational at Griffin Gate.
