Men’s Golf off to solid start at Agnes McAmis Memorial

CHUCKEY, Tenn. (March 21, 2022) – The Milligan University men's golf team turned in solid opening round at the Agnes McAmis Memorial at the Graysburg Hills Golf Club on Monday.

The Buffs sit in fifth place of 15 teams at the event with a round one team score of plus-two 290. The Buffs are three strokes out of second place and five strokes behind host Tusculum.

Jonathan Liggett led the charge for Milligan a two-under 70 to land in seventh place in the 93-golfer field after day one. He canned six birdies in his opening round.

Dane Rheinecker posted an even-par 72 to tie for 12th on day one. Alvardo Huidobro finished one stroke back with a 71 to sit in 20th.

Ty Beasley was 31st after carding a 75. Samuel Prater rounded out the Buffs' top unit with a 79.

Reece Anderson topped the Buffs' second group at Tusculum with a 76, good for 38th.
