MILLIGAN, Tenn. (July 27, 2020) – The Milligan University men's golf program earned academic honors as a Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team, announced the GCAA. Milligan posted a team grade-point average of 3.26 during the 2019-20 academic year to land a spot on the list.
"This is quite an honor for our men's team," Head Coach Tony Wallingford said. "These guys put in a ton of work at the golf course, most days until dark, then return to campus and hit the books. I am really proud of them."
Only 18 NAIA schools this year earned the prestigious All-Academic Team honor, which requires a 3.0 or better team GPA. A total of 250 schools across all divisions (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA) submitted GPA's of 3.0 or above.
