Men’s golf kicks spring season off
The Milligan College men’s golf team started their spring season off with a 14th-place finish at the Skyhawk Invitational in Pine Mountain, Georgia, March 9-10.
PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (March 10, 2020) – The Milligan College men's golf team started their spring season off with a 14th-place finish at the Skyhawk Invitational in Pine Mountain, Georgia, March 9-10.
Dane Rheinecker led Milligan with a 57th place finish, followed by Brandon Hammond in 70th, Caleb Milligan in 72nd, Jonathan Liggett in 80th and Ethan Mays in 92nd. As a team, Milligan posted rounds of 330, 325 and 339 for an overall score of 994.
Tournament host, Point University, won the event with a combined score of 874. Ruan Pretorius from Point won the event with two rounds under par and one round two over par.
Milligan will be back in action right down the road in Greeneville, Tennessee, at the Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational, hosted by Tusculum. The invitational will be March 23-24.
