Men’s golf finishes fall at AAC Championship
The Milligan College men’s golf team wrapped up its fall slate with a 12th-place finish at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Championship Tuesday at Barnsley Gardens Resort.
ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. (Oct. 22, 2019) – The Milligan College men's golf team wrapped up its fall slate with a 12th-place finish at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Championship Tuesday at Barnsley Gardens Resort.
Caleb Milligan led the Buffs with a 43rd-place finish individually, followed by Samuel Prater, Dane Rheinecker, Jonathan Liggett and David Lang who all finished in the top 75. As a team, Milligan posted rounds of 331, 318 and 324, which was good for 12th in the field of 19 teams and sixth among schools from the AAC.
Point University won the event with a three-round combined 893 while Dalton State's Matthew Cleary posted the low individual total with an even par 72 on all three rounds.
With the fall season finished, Milligan will next be in action during the spring portion of the season.
