Trentler and Collins Recognized by SSAC as Part of Men's Bowling Scholar-Athlete Team

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) unveiled their five-man Men's Bowling Barnes & Noble College Scholar-Athlete Team for 2024-25 on Friday morning. Milligan had a pair of student-athletes acknowledged, with Nate Trentler and Joshua Collins earning the plaudits.

To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions. 

Trentler was a NAIA Third-Team All-American this season, and was All-SSAC First Team. He has a 3.76 GPA in the Business Administration major. He averaged 208.5 pins per game this season.

Collins had a strong season, posting an average of just over 208.3 pins per game. He was an All-SSAC Second Team member this year. He holds a 3.51 GPA in the Sport Management degree program.
