Milligan Men's Bowling Places Second of 13 in NAIA Southeast Regional Baker Games
ATLANTA, Ga. – On Sunday, the Milligan University men's bowling squad finished their weekend with the NAIA Southeast Regional Baker Games in Atlanta, as the Buffaloes posted a second-place finish out of 13 teams.
Across 25 Baker Games, Milligan scored 5,028 pins to finish just 144 pins out of the first-place spot.
The Buffs' best game came in their fifth Baker, as they totaled 246 pins in that one. As a squad, Alex Evans, Bryant Griffith, Caleb Marshall, Cameron Shockey, David Gilliam, Joshua Collins, Blake McReynolds and Nate Trentler combined for the varsity.
The JV team finished fourth of eight, as they toppled 4,455 pins. Aiden Bailey, Xander Stephens, Cooper Baldwin, Jake Litteljohn, Jameson Whaley, Kayden Lamon, Matthew Coppola and Will Clabo teamed up for the JV squad.
Milligan returns on Feb. 15-16 at the Hoosier Classic "Tier 1" tourney in Indianapolis, Ind., which precedes the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championships in Savannah, Ga. on Feb. 21-22.
