Trentler Places Sixth, Milligan Men's Bowling Finishes Fourth at Lynne Jordan Memorial
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Milligan University men's bowling continued their 2024-25 campaign in Louisville, Ky. at the Lynne Jordan Memorial on Saturday, where they managed a fourth-place overall finish out of 21 attending programs.
The Buffaloes had a total of 5,921 pins across four team games (4,270 pins) and eight baker games (1,651 pins) to place in the fourth position.
Milligan's top finisher was Nate Trentler, who placed sixth as an individual with 906 pins across the four team games. His tourney average was 227 pins per game. He had a single-game best total of 242 pins in his first game of the tournament.
Just four spots lower in 10th was Alex Evans, who turned in 891 pins for a average of 223 pins per game. He had a single-game high of 259 pins in his first game.
Cameron Shockey had a strong individual finish in 14th as a member of the JV1 squad, putting up 871 pins in four games. He averaged 218 pins per game and had 244 pins for his single-game high in game two.
Three other members of the squad finished in the top 50 as individuals. Caleb McDonald placed 22nd as a part of JV1 with an 849-pin total and a single-game best of 246. Joshua Collins came in 23rd, scoring 842 pins and an average of 211 pins per game. Blake McReynolds came in 40th with a 793-pin total.
The Buffaloes will be back again tomorrow for the Thomas Burris Memorial in Louisville.
