Men’s Bowling competes at Orange & Black Classic
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (October 9, 2021) – The Milligan University men's bowling team placed 22nd at the Orange & Black Classic, hosted by Pikeville over the weekend.
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (October 9, 2021) – The Milligan University men's bowling team placed 22nd at the Orange & Black Classic, hosted by Pikeville over the weekend.
Milligan knocked down 6,609 pins over the two-day tournament that featured individual play on Saturday and Baker games and match play on Sunday. Host Pikeville took the top spot in the team qualifying at 8,403 pins. Lawrence Tech took home the team title after match play.
On Saturday, the Buffs posted a team score of 4,391 pins over five games of individual play.
Christian Brown led the way during individual play with 967 pins downed for a 193.4 average to finish 40th individually. He eclipsed 200 twice with scores of 245 and 235 in his first two games.
Tristan Crawford averaged 180 pins to finish 67th. He cleared 209 pins in his first game. Cooper Brackins was close behind at 69th with an average of 178.6 and high of 219.
On Sunday, in a 16 baker games the Buffs knocked down 2,218 pins.
