Buffaloes Men’s Basketball set to Battle Cumberlands in NAIA First Round
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Thursday night, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics unveiled the qualified teams and bracket for the NAIA Men's Basketball First and Second Rounds.
The Milligan men's basketball squad earned a spot as the No. 13 seed in the Cramer Quadrant and will be making the short trip to Williamsburg, Ky., where they will battle the No. 4-seeded University of the Cumberlands Patriots at 1 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 14. The other matchup in Williamsburg is between No. 5-seeded University of Mobile Rams and the No. 12-seeded Indiana University Northwest RedHawks, which will get under way at 3 p.m. on Mar. 14.
The winning side in both battles will face off in the Second Round on Mar. 15 with a trip to Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. on the line. The last 16 teams after the Second Round's conclusion advance to the final site.
