WALESKA, Ga. - On Monday, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced this week's Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week award winners. Milligan University's Handje Tamba was credited with the defensive plaudits, after helping Milligan to a 1-1 record this week with a win over Union Commonwealth.

Tamba had a total of 17 rebounds, five blocks and two steals across a pair of contests. He was especially dominant in the Buffs' win over Union Commonwealth, in which he posted 12 rebounds, four blocks and two takeaways. This is his first Player of the Week honor as a member of the Buffaloes in his first season at the University.
