Men’s Basketball defeats St. Andrews for third-straight win

Milligan earns its third-straight win and moves to 3-0 at home this season. The Buffs sit at 4-4 on the season and above .500 with a 4-3 mark in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play. St. Andrews falls to 1-9, 0-8 AAC.
The Buffs set season highs with 91 points and 21 assists in the wire-to-wire. The Buffs shot over 50 percent for the third-straight game at 54.3 percent. The Buffs scored 60 points in the paint and racked up 33 bench points on the night.
Dylan Bartley led the Buffs with 20 points with a six three-pointers. Sam Gold notched 14 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Sami Sanad posted 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Matthew Roberts broke double-figures for the first time as a Buff with a dozen points on six-of-nine shooting.
The Buffs raced out to a 17-4 lead on a St. Andrews squad that only dressed seven players on the evening. Milligan's lead stretched to 21 points (39-18) in the final five minutes of the first half and owned a 51-24 advantage at halftime. Milligan led by as many as 37 points in the second half.
Milligan heads to Bryan on Saturday for a 4:00 p.m. tip-off.
