Josh Thomas made a pair of early baskets to give Milligan a 4-2 advantage with 17:46 to play in the first half, but that was the only time all evening the Buffs would enjoy the lead. UAH scored the next nine points as part of a 21-4 run to go ahead 23-8 with 11 minutes to play in the first and never looked back.
Jackson Gabriel led the Buffs with 12 points on four made threes. Sami Sanad had eight points.
UAH forced 25 Milligan turnovers and was plus-11 in the rebounding battle as the the Chargers took 24 more shots than the Buffs on the evening. UAH shot 48.7 percent from the field and 14-of-38 from deep while Milligan was 35.2 percent from the floor and six-of-28 from three.
Milligan returns to Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play Wednesday evening at CIU.
