Milligan esports finishes CLOL season 4-2
Milligan esports wrapped up the College League of Legends season with a record of 4-2.
Week 1 - Milligan Falls 2-1 to the University of Alabama
Summary:
Game 1- Milligan comes out with a statement against Alabama and handles them swiftly in a quick 25 minute match.
Game 2- Alabama turns the tide on Milligan and takes game two in a quick fashion heading into the final game of the series.
Game 3- Alabama and Milligan are going neck to neck for this series and in a close third game. The tide comes up with the win vs Milligan in 2-1 fashion.
Week 2 - Milligan beats Furman 2-0
Summary:
Game 1- Milligan comes out with a strong statement after their loss to Alabama last week and beat Furman in an insanely fast 20 minute game. Yhorman Prietos, "MU Logic," Milligan's Jungler, put on a performance in this game and outclassed the Furman Esports squad.
Game 2- Milligan comes out just as strong and takes the game in another quick 20 minute fashion with Nate Williams, "MU Senor," showing off his Marksmen mechanics.
Week 3- Milligan loses to UTSA 2-0
Summary:
Game 1- The University of Texas at San Antonio came out strong and really put the pressure on Milligan and took game one despite the incredible performance of MU Logic for the Buffs.
Game 2- The University of Texas at San Antonio once again shows no signs of slowing down and take game two in a much closer game, and the Buffs fall 1-2 to the start of the CLOL season.
Week 4 - Milligan Beats Virginia Wesleyan University 2-0
Summary:
Game 1- Milligan comes out with a bang after last week's loss and completely shuts down Virginia Wesleyan's game plan and take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Game 2- Milligan continues with a much stronger game two off the back of Parker Kents, "Pkent10," deathless series for the Buffs. Milligan looks to continue on the upward track with a 2-2 record in CLOL.
Week 5 - Milligan Beats UNC Greensboro 2-0
Summary:
Game 1- Milligan comes out strong yet again with a crushing blow to UNC Greensboro and absolutely dominates the game start to finish off the back of David Snyder, "MU kid redfoxx."
Game 2- Milligan starts out with another strong game but UNC Greensboro fights back, but is not enough and the Buffs take the series in a 2-0 fashion. The Buffs are now 3-2 in clol heading into the last week.
Week 6 - Milligan Wins 2-0 over USF Esports via Forfeit
Up next for the Buffs is the Drury Collegiate Invitational March 13-14, and the Teemo Cup Playoffs starting March 20, finishing with the Battle at Buff Nation April 9-11.
