MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2015) – Edgewood High School cheerleader Ashlyn Vecrumba signed with Milligan College cheerleading for the 2015-16 season, announced Head Coach Rhonda Paulson.
The Bloomington, Indiana, native cheered for Edgewood for three years while also participating in a host of other activities. As a Lady Mustang, Vecrumba competed in track, volleyball and gymnastics and performed in the show choir.
"I ultimately decided to attend Milligan because it feels like a second home to me," expressed Vecrumba. "After traveling to Milligan for several Christ In Youth trips and visiting the campus during homecoming week, I could feel God's presence on campus, and I knew that God wanted me here."
Vecrumba, the daughter of Steven and Tara Lyn Vecrumba, looks to pursue a future in missions with a focus on nursing. While at Milligan, she intends to major in nursing with a minor in French.
