Milligan Baseball Receives Votes in Preseason NAIA Coaches' Top 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Wednesday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) revealed the results of the Preseason NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25. As part of the ranking, Milligan University received 15 votes to earn the (RV) status. The rating was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences. The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
Milligan finished their 2024 season with a runner-up conclusion to the Hattiesburg, Miss. regional, hosted by William Carey University, twice upsetting No. 11-ranked Mid-America Christian in the process. The squad looks to follow up their successful first national tournament appearance with another in 2025.
