Late Rally Hands Baseball Loss in AAC Tournament
KINGSPORT, Ga. - Milligan University baseball gave top-seeded Reinhardt University (Ga.) all it could handle, but in the end, the Buffaloes fell to the Eagles in the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Tournament on Thursday.

The loss drops Milligan to 31-19 on the season.
The Buffs are back in action against fifth-seeded Bryan at 12 p.m.
The tournament is being held at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tenn.
Milligan grabbed the early lead with Angel Lobo homering in the first inning. After Reinhardt tied the game in the third, Milligan reclaimed the advantage in the fifth. With two on, Braden Spano singled to right field to drive in Lobo for a 2-1 Buffalo lead.
Unfortunately, Eagle first baseman Nash Crowell took over as he hit a pair of two-run home runs. He lofted his first four-bagger in the sixth to give Reinhardt a 3-2 lead before adding his second home run in the eighth to secure the 5-2 outcome.
Lobo finished the game 1-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Spano collected two of the Buffs' seven hits.
