Bio

Taylor Davis begins his second season as an assistant coach for the Milligan baseball team in the 2024-25 academic year.

Davis was part of the Milligan baseball program's first ever appearance in the NAIA Opening Round in 2024, where they advanced to the final of the Hattiesburg Regional.

He spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Bridgewater College (NCAA DIII). In 2022, the Eagles won 26 games and advanced to the final weekend in the ODAC Tournament as the conference’s No. 6 seed. In 2021, Bridgewater made a run to the ODAC Tournament semifinals and in 2023 the Eagles defeated eventual national champion Lynchburg in the opening game of the conference tournament.

Before Bridgewater, Davis spent a season in the same role at DeSales (NCAA DIII) and was a volunteer assistant at George Mason (NCAA DI).

Davis played first base and pitched at Ferrum College, where he was a four-time all-academic honoree. The Panthers were USA South regular season champions in 2014. Following Ferrum, he was a graduate assistant coach at Eastern Mennonite University under current Bridgewater head coach Ben Spotts.

Davis graduated from Ferrum with a bachelor’s degree in history and social studies in 2015 and earned a master’s in interdisciplinary studies from Eastern Mennonite in 2017.
