Dear Parents,
Thank you for registering your child for a Milligan Athletic Camp. Our goal is to provide a fun and rewarding experience while ensuring everyone’s health and safety. We will be following guidance from the Tennessee Department of Health and CDC. To that end, here is some important information:
- Screening – We will screen campers for illness upon arrival to camp each day. Please be prepared for the following:
- Temperature checks for every camper. Campers with temperatures above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be permitted on premise.
- Question screening for campers and/or their guardian regarding COVID-19 symptoms.
- Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
- Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?
- Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
- Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
- Social Distancing – Students will be grouped into small groups of ten or fewer campers—the same campers each day—with staff attending to each cohort. Mixing of groups and campers will be limited. We will review social distancing rules with campers at the beginning of each day and remind them, as necessary, throughout the day.
- Masks – Campers are asked to bring a cloth face covering. They will not be required to wear during physical activity, but they will be required to wear it inside and outside facilities when not engaged in physical activities.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting
- Equipment and facilities will be disinfected regularly.
- Require that campers wash or sanitize their hands upon arriving at and leaving camp each day, as well as after using the bathroom and before eating.
- Campers are asked to bring their own water bottle.
Please contact the camp director/coach if you have questions.
