Milligan University Swimming Butterfly and Backstroke Clinic

Come learn from one of the top teams in the NAIA. Led by Head Coach Spencer Scarth, you will have the chance to watch and learn from some of the top athletes on the Milligan University swim team, multiple All-Americans, AAC champions and school record holders!

Camp includes:

  • Perfect your butterfly and backstroke technique
  • Learn from the Milligan coaching staff about different approaches to each stroke
  • Watch yourself improve on video replay technology

LOCATION:
All Camps will be held at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on the campus of Milligan University (first floor)

AGES:
Stroke clinics are open to all ages that have competitive swimming experience and are able to complete a 50 of each stroke. For questions, please email Spencer Scarth scscarth@milligan.edu.

COST:
$40 per clinic. Video filming, with underwater and above-water replay abilities, is available for an additional $10 per clinic.

REGISTRATION:
Camps will fill on a first-come, first-service basis. No paper applications are available. Campers can attend multiple clinics if available, no discounts for multi-session or Milligan employees. Payment is due via credit card upon completion of the online registration. Registration will be capped at 30 participants.

SCHEDULE:
Each clinics schedule will be emailed out to all participants.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Refunds are available up to 7 days prior the clinic. Contact Coach Scarth with questions.

VISITORS:
Parents and Friends are welcome to watch daily activities of camp.

About Coach Scarth

Milligan University’s head swim coach, Spencer Scarth, is headed into his fourth season with the Buffs. During that time, Milligan has shot up the national rankings, from an 18th place finish in 2020 to 5th at the 2022 NAIA nationals. Spencer has learned from some of the best coaches in the sport, including University of Texas head coaches Eddie Reese and Carol Capitani, former ISL coach of the LA Current Kim Brackin, as well as renowned swimming broadcaster and 3-time gold medalist Rowdy Gaines.
