Perryman earns first career AAC weekly honor
After leading the No. 16 Milligan College women’s golf team with rounds of 74 and 75 at the final event of the fall semester, sophomore Alayna Perryman has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27. The AAC league office announced the award Monday afternoon.

(Oct. 28, 2019) – After leading the No. 16 Milligan College women's golf team with rounds of 74 and 75 at the final event of the fall semester, sophomore Alayna Perryman has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27. The AAC league office announced the award Monday afternoon.
Perryman earned a third-place individual finish and led Milligan to fourth overall as a team at the Chick-fil-A Invitational, hosted by Berry College, last Monday and Tuesday. The rounds were her two lowest of the season and lowered her scoring average to 78.5.
Perryman has been especially good over the last two events, averaging 77.25 since heading to the AAC Fall Championship two weeks ago. She finished sixth individually there, leading Milligan to runner-up.
With the fall schedule complete, Perryman and the No. 16 Buffs will be in action in the spring. The full schedule of dates and locations will be announced at a later date.
