The Buffaloes won their match over Georgia's club team, 2-0, as part of a split day.
"I am so excited for the guys to finally get that first victory," Head Coach Doneva Bays said. "They have worked so hard and had to overcome some adversity lately. I'm very proud of this program and the guys in it."
Milligan's victory came in the form of a 25-20, 30-28 marathon over Georgia. Nathan Gibson led the way with 15 kills and only two errors on 22 attack attempts (.591 attack rate).
