    The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) honored both the Milligan College men’s and women’s track and field teams along with 12 individuals for achieving academic success during the 2018-19 season.
  • Roark takes outstanding athlete honor at Grandfather Mountain Highland Games

    Austin Roark, seen here competing for Milligan College, was named the outstanding male track athlete at last week's Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in North Carolina. Roark won the 220-yard dash, the 440-yard dash and the long jump.
  • 12 Milligan teams earn NAIA scholar award

    The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday that 12 Milligan teams earned the distinction for Scholar-Teams for the 2018-19 academic year. These 12 teams were among 1,939 total teams across the NAIA recognized with this award.

    A handful of top-tier talent, a few local products and several notable athletes from Tennessee highlight the 2019 signing class for Milligan College cross-country and track & field. Chris Layne, who recently completed his 20th season as Milligan head coach, made the announcement Wednesday.
