Tennis drops AAC quarterfinal matches to top-10 teams
Both Milligan University tennis teams lost to nationally-ranked top-10 teams in the quarterfinals of the Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament Thursday at the Champions Club. The men lost to No. 10 Union 4-0 in the morning before the women lost to No. 9 Montreat 4-0 in the afternoon.

Women’s tennis wins narrowly against Point at home
Karson Light won the clinching point to help the Milligan University women’s tennis team get back on the winning track with a 4-3 victory over Point Friday afternoon at Mathes Tennis Center. Milligan’s men fell to the nationally-ranked No. 15 Skyhawks 5-2.

Tennis wins against Wise
The Milligan University tennis teams won Saturday against UVa.-Wise with the men winning in an easy sweep, 7-0, and the women winning by a narrow decision, 4-3. Marlaina Peterson earned the clinching point for Milligan’s women in the last match to finish.

Tennis adds five for 2020-21
Head tennis coach Ryan Reynolds announced the addition of five players to the Milligan University tennis program as part of his 2020 signing class. Kylie Enarson, Macy Kennedy and Jaelyn Casteel join the women’s side while Nathan Smiley and Ryan Thomas join the men’s side.
