Eight Buffs land on AAC All-Academic golf teams

The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Tuesday the All-Academic Teams for men’s and women’s golf, and Milligan College was well represented.

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (April 7, 2020) – The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Tuesday the All-Academic Teams for men's and women's golf, and Milligan College was well represented.

Sophomore Brandon Hammond, senior Caleb Milligan and junior Dane Rheinecker made the All-Academic Team for the men. Senior Nellie Berglund, junior Madison Blanton, sophomore Meryl Castle, sophomore Alayna Perryman and sophomore Jenny Simonsen made the All-Academic Team for the women.

Additionally, Danielle Mirovich and Reece Walker were named to the AAC Champions of Character Teams.

To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 and be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.
