2005 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE | BECKY SELLS OLINGER
Becky Sells Olinger graduated from Milligan College in 2000 with a degree in special education, and in May of this year (2005), she completed a M.A. in Education at Cumberland University. Currently, she is a resource teacher at Vance Middle School in Bristol, Tennessee.
During her impressive basketball career with the Buffs, Becky set several national records. She still holds the NAIA Division II all-time records for scoring, with 2,965 points; for rebounding, with 1649 rebounds; and for field goal percentage at 0.646 percent.
Becky was a three-time All-American selection. She also received the Conference Player of the Year award, and was a four-time first team selection to the All-Conference team. During her four years, the Buffs comprised a 115-25 record, a winning percentage of 0.821.
Becky averaged a double-double for her career as a Buff. During her final season in 1999-2000, Becky averaged 25.8 points and 12.3 rebounds per contest. Her career average is 21.2 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game.
She is married to Jason Olinger, and they have an 11-month-old daughter, Gracelyn.
