Why did you choose Milligan?: I chose Milligan because of the academics & community. I knew I would get the education I needed to succeed in my future career while also surrounding myself with people who truly care about me and who want me to follow God’s call on my life.
What is your favorite activity outside of sports at Milligan?: I like Hart’s Halloween Karaoke. I always make a fool of myself, but it’s always a blast.
Favorite memory: I went on the humanities tour with my sister, & we got to go to Dublin, Paris, London, Prague, Krakow and Berlin. It was since an enriching experience and I will never forget it.
Your favorite class/professor: My favorite class has been organic chemistry with Dr. Mudrack. I loved that class because I liked the content and Dr. M made it enjoyable. I liked it so much that I joined her research project on creating new antibiotics against a bacteria prevalent in patients with Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. M truly cares about her students & their futures. Not only is she a great professor, but she is one of the best people I know.
Post-grad plans: I want to go to PA school or medical school. I am taking a gap year to work & apply.
What has being a Buff meant to you?: Being a Buff means to be a servant leader. At the end of the day, I would rather someone remember me because I was a caring person above my own personal successes in academics or athletics.
