Why did you choose Milligan?: I chose Milligan because it had a similar feel to my high school in terms of the small teacher to student ratio which allows for more involved relationships between student and teacher. Additionally, I chose Milligan because it afforded me the opportunity to be a collegiate athlete while pursuing a degree.
What is your favorite activity outside of sports at Milligan?: My 2 words.
Favorite memory : Traveling to Gulf Shores, Alabama with the track team to compete in outdoor nationals.
Your favorite class/professor: My favorite professor is Dr. Kenneson. I love how passionate he is about what he does and he always pushes others to go beyond their comfort zone and ask questions. He ensures that we are learning whatever it is that we cover but he also makes sure that we never stop asking questions in pursuit of more knowledge.
Post-grad plans: I plan to go to grad school for OT.
What has being a Buff meant to you?: Being a Buff has meant struggling at times to understand what it means to truly persevere. It has also meant figuring out more about myself and who I really am more than I would have ever thought I would do in these past 3 years. If I had to pick a word to summarize my experience as a Buff, it would be growth.
