Dominy earns AAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete weekly honors

WALESKA, Ga. (March 18, 2024) - Caitlin Dominy is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
The Riner, Va., graduate student hit two NAIA 'A' Standards over the weekend as the Milligan University women's track & field team competed at the John Hunter Classic in Columbia, S.C.
Dominy won the 1500 with a time of 4:38.05, which ranks second in the NAIA.
In the 5000, she won with a time of 17:21.84, which is a personal best and ranks second in the NAIA.
This is Dominy's first weekly award for the outdoor season year. She also was named the AAC and NAIA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week in October.
Milligan returns to action on Friday and Saturday at the Montreat Open in Black Mountain, N.C.
