Men’s and Women’s Tennis pick up 9-0 wins at Brevard

BREVARD, N.C. (October 3, 2021) – The Milligan University men's and women's tennis teams both earned 9-0 victories at Brevard on Sunday.

Kaitlin Barrett, Sophie Dunman, Macy Kennedy, Kylie Enarson, Karson Light and Hannah Nelson all picked up singles victories at from the first flight through the sixth.

Barrett and Kennedy earned an 8-2 win at top doubles, Enarson and Dunman took and 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles and Light and Nelson made it a sweep with an 8-0 margin at third doubles.

Marcos Moreno, Carter Rigsby, Justin Rigsby, Ryan Thomas, Daniel Roshak and Landon Brown each posted singles wins.

Derian Janeke and Nathan Smiley won at No. 1 doubles 8-2. Moreno and C. Rigsby took No. 2 doubles 8-0 and J. Rigsby and Thomas took the final doubles flight 8-1.

Buffs' tennis returns to action Oct. 17 when they host King in Milligan's only home match of the fall season.
