WALESKA, Ga. - On Monday afternoon, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released the winner of their Women's Golfer of the Week award for the week of Sept. 23-Sept. 29. Milligan's Kate Castle earned the recognition after supplying a record-breaking first round at the East Tennessee Collegiate last Monday and Tuesday. 

In adddition to breaking the Buffaloes' program record for the least number of strokes in an 18-hole round with 66, she won the two-round event with a combined score of 142 strokes, which put her at two strokes under par. 

She led Milligan to their first event title of the fall campaign with her impressive showing.
