MILLIGAN, Tenn. (July 24, 2020) – After earning a final national ranking of No. 24 for athletics success, the Milligan University women's golf team earned the No. 9 national ranking for academic success, announced the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
With four Buffs previously earning a spot on the individual All-American Scholar list, the team combined to produce a 3.51 grade-point average, ranking 0.1 points outside of the top five on the national list of NAIA members.
"This is a great honor for our women's golf program," Head Coach Tony Wallingford said. "The #9 national team academic ranking is a true testament to each team member's dedication and time commitment to both golf and their academics. My congrats to our ladies!"
