Freshman Michaela Lindahl has been the Buffs leader so far, holding a share of the individual lead in the first tournament before winning the second event outright. Most recently, Lindahl earned a third-place finish at the East Tennessee Collegiate two weeks ago. She carded a par round over the first 18 holes to help solidify her third all-tournament honor in three events.
"I am really happy for the girls and for the early season recognition," Head Coach Tony Wallingford said. "We're off to a good start because of their commitment and focus. We have a nice mix of young players and upperclassmen and are getting quality leadership. I know the ranking will serve as a motivation for them to continue to work hard and improve."
Further information on individual statistical leaders and team scoring rankings will be released by Golfstat Oct. 17.
