Gose earns All-Conference first team
Milligan College’s Kaely Gose has been selected as a member of the 2019-20 Appalachian Athletic Conference All-Conference first team, announced the league office Wednesday evening during the annual awards banquet. Gose led Milligan in scoring and rebounding this season and ranked ninth and third in the AAC in those categories, respectively.

(Feb. 26, 2020) – Milligan College's Kaely Gose has been selected as a member of the 2019-20 Appalachian Athletic Conference All-Conference first team, announced the league office Wednesday evening during the annual awards banquet. Gose led Milligan in scoring and rebounding this season and ranked ninth and third in the AAC in those categories, respectively.
Additionally, Hannah Rodgers made the AAC Champions of Character team, and the Buffs co-led the AAC in members of the Academic All-Conference team with six: Bailey Berry, Sydney Breeding, Dani Bryant, Gose, Rodgers and Cali Weddle.
Gose's season numbers
Gose averaged 14.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game during her senior campaign. She tallied 14 double-doubles, including one in the opening round of the tournament earlier Wednesday afternoon as the Buffs defeated Truett McConnell, 71-51.
Gose also has six national averages in the top 50. She ranks No. 9 in NAIA Division II in defensive rebounds per game with 8.0 and No. 15 in total rebounds (294). She is a member of the 1,000 point club and 500 rebound club, registering 1,009 career points and 597 career rebounds as a member of the Milligan team. She has scored 1,036 collegiate points.
Gose, Buffs back at it in AAC tournament Thursday
Gose and the Buffs will be back in action Thursday at approximately 12 p.m. for a matchup with top-ranked and No. 13 Bryan College in the quarterfinals of the AAC tournament. All tournament games will take place at MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center in Kingsport.
