KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Wednesday morning, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll No. 1. The poll listed the Milligan men's soccer team as the top-ranked program in the nation after a 9-0 victory on the road to start their campaign. It is the first time in program history that Milligan has been ranked in the top spot nationally.

The Buffs earned a total of 464 points in the poll, to hold the top spot with eight first-place votes. The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter votes for the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 points for third-place and so on through the list. A panel of head coaches representing each conference and Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) voted on the poll.
