Evans Bowls 300, Milligan Men's Bowling Places Third in NAIA Southeast Regional
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Milligan University men's bowling squad completed their NAIA Southeast Regional Individual Games and placed 3rd out of 15 teams in the event. Milligan's JV squad had multiple top-50 finishes while placing fourth at the event, as well.
Overall, the Buffaloes scored a total 6,160 pins on the day. This was good enough for third place in the event, edging out Florida State to finish in the top three.
A big reason for their top-three finish on Saturday was the play of Alex Evans, who scored a 300 in game two. His individual total of 1,314 pins across the six games was good enough to place seventh in the men's individual standings. Nate Trentler was also able to secure a top-50 finish with a score of 1,068 pins despite only playing 5 games.
Kayden Lamon bowled a total score of 1,303 for the JV team which was a good enough finish in 11th overall in the individual standings. Cameron Shockey was also a top-15 finisher for the men's JV quad in the overall standings with a total score of 1,923 pins across six games.
The Buffs will be back in action tomorrow as they will take on six NAIA Southeast Regional baker games.
