Men’s Bowling earns first-ever NAIA National Championship berth

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 4, 2024) – The Milligan University men's bowling team was announced as one of 12 qualifiers to the 2024 NAIA Men's Bowling National Championship.
The Buffs will make their first-ever NAIA National Championship appearance in the squad's third year of existence. Milligan snagged one of six at-large berths after finishing the season ranked No. 7 in the NAIA RPI.
Milligan enjoyed a record-breaking 2023-24 campaign as the Buffs earned their first tournament victory at the Mid-South Conference Lynne Jordan Memorial and cracked the top-25 in the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) online team rankings for the first time in program history. The Buffs notched three top-10 finishes at Tier 1 events and posted a top-25 showing at the Tier 1 Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic.
The NAIA Men's and Women's Bowling National Championships will take place at 5 Star Lanes March 21-23 in Sterling Heights, Mich. The championship will open with baker play to decide seeding on Thursday, March 21. Once seeding is confirmed, brackets will be announced and teams will compete through a double-elimination bracket for The Battle of the Red Banner.
