Joshua Collins tabbed as SSAC Men’s Bowler of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (January 23, 2024) – Milligan University junior Joshua Collins was announced as the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Men's Bowler of the Week on Tuesday.

Collins collected all-tournament honors at the Mid-South Conference Lynne Jordan Memorial and helped the Buffs to their first team tournament title in program history. Collins finished third at the Lynne Jordan Memorial with 1,162 total pins, an average of 232.4. He recorded four games over 200 with highs of 260 and 256.

At the MSC Thomas Burris Memorial Collins averaged over 201.0 pins (1,005 total) to finish 31st.

Over the two tournaments, Collins exceeded 200 pins in seven of 10 individual games.

Milligan returns to action at the NAIA Southeastern Open in two weeks.
