Follie Bogan named to Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List
MILLIGAN, Tenn. (January 15, 2024) – Milligan University men’s basketball standout Follie Bogan has been named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List by Small College Basketball on Monday.
MILLIGAN, Tenn. (January 15, 2024) – Milligan University men's basketball standout Follie Bogan has been named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List by Small College Basketball on Monday.
The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented to the player who has the finest overall season small college basketball. The list features 100 players from NCAA Division II, Division II, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA men's basketball.
Bogan is in his first season with the Buffs as a graduate transfer from Lees-McRae. He leads the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) and ranks fourth in the NAIA at 25.9 points per game. Bogan ranks third in the nation in field goals made and eighth in free throws made.
Bogan dropped 38 points in an early-season win over (RV) Union, Milligan's first triumph over the Bulldogs since 2019. He has 13 20-point outings, four 30-point efforts and is a three-time AAC Player of the Week.
The Bevo Francis list will be cut three more times to a Top 50, Top 25 and Finalists before the winner is announced on April 6 by Small College Basketball.
Milligan returns to action Saturday at Union.
