Began: 2021-22 | Season: 2023-24 is her 2nd season

Tori Mingo enters her second season as Milligan’s head competitive cheer and dance coach in 2023-24. The Buffs enter their first year of competitive cheer as an affiliate member of the Southern States Athletic Conference in 2023-24.

Mingo joined the program as the spirit assistant for the cheer and dance teams in 2018 before being tabbed to lead the programs in 2021-22.

Mingo , a native of Johnson City, was a member of the dance team at Milligan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2013.
 
Prior to Milligan, Mingo  taught Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Acro, Hip Hop and Tap at a local dance studio for ages 3 to 18 for four years. In 2016, Mingo received her master’s degree in social work from East Tennessee State University.
 
Mingo currently resides in Johnson City, Tennessee.
