2010 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE | DUSTIN PRICE
Dustin Price graduated cum laude from Milligan in 2005 with a BS in biology, playing baseball all four years.
An outstanding player from the beginning, Dustin was named Appalachian Athletic Conference Freshman Player of the Year in 2002. During his sophomore season, he helped lead the Buffs to the AAC tournament championship with his two-out, game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning. In 2004, he started every game at third base and led the team in several offensive categories. He was voted to the All-AAC team along with earning All-Region XII and honorable mention NAIA All-American honors.
He currently holds the following Milligan baseball records:
Most doubles in a single game—3 vs. Carson Newman in 2002
Most home runs in a season—14 in 2004
Most home runs in a career—39 between 2002-2005
Most RBIs in a career—180 between 2002-2005
In addition to his athletic skills, Dustin’s teammates recognized and respected his leadership ability. He served as team captain during his junior and senior years at Milligan.
Dustin has been married for three years to Candace Crutcher, and he is employed as a personal trainer at Mountain States Health Alliance’s Wellness Center. He is currently a student at Quillen College of Medicine, where he is a gross anatomy tutor, a member of Phi Kappa Phi,a and serves on both the admissions committee and the medical student education committee. Dustin will graduate with an MD in 2012.
