Tennis Facilities
Mathes Tennis Center
Dedicated in 2005, the Mathes Tennis Center is one of the most recent additions to the athletic facilities at Milligan University. It is located on the south edge of campus and contains a clubhouse with office space, restrooms, showers, and an observation deck overlooking six lighted courts. Each court conforms to collegiate tournament standards.
After his days competing as a student-athlete at Milligan, Head Coach Ryan Reynolds has used Mathes Tennis Center as his teams' home for six Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season titles (2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016 for the women, and 2013 for the men). The women's team peaked in the 2014 season, climbing as high as No. 13 nationally. The Buffaloes made it into the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship round of 16 that season.
