Anglin Fields
Milligan's Anglin Fields, which include baseball, softball and soccer fields along with a throws pit and M Training Loop for cross-country and track & field, lie along the banks of Buffalo Creek behind campus. These fields were named after Senator Tom Anglin of Oklahoma, an early graduate of Milligan.
Anglin Softball Field
Anglin Softball Field has been home to Milligan softball since the program moved to fastpitch in 1989. The park, which goes 200 feet down both foul lines and 225 feet to straightaway center, boasts numerous recent renovations. Most recently, Milligan upgraded the facility with a state-of-the-art lighting system, allowing the team to practice into the evening and play night games at home. Additionally, a lighted batting cage along the first-base line was added following the 2015 season; the infield was upgraded in summer 2014 with new dirt and fresh grass in first- and third-base foul territory; the locker rooms were redesigned in 2012 with new carpet and lockers; and the press box was replaced in 2012 to better accommodate working staff and media.
The softball facility as a whole consists of the lighted playing diamond, lighted batting cage, and a fieldhouse that houses the locker rooms and office space for staff. The field features a series of bleacher-style seating areas along both fence lines while also sporting an open and spacious area beyond the outfield fence which is shaded in the afternoons and evenings by the trees that line Buffalo Creek.
Head Coach Wes Holly, the third-winningest active coach in the NAIA, has used Anglin Field as his team's home for nine 30-win seasons, including a program record 43-win season in 1992. His teams have won seven regular-season titles.
