Anglin Fields
Milligan's Anglin Fields, which include baseball, softball and soccer fields along with a throws pit and M Training Loop for cross-country and track & field, lie along the banks of Buffalo Creek behind campus. These fields were named after Senator Tom Anglin of Oklahoma, an early graduate of Milligan.
Anglin Baseball Field
Anglin Baseball Field is located in between the softball and soccer fields on the west end of campus. The lighted ballpark features spacious dugouts, oversized bullpens, roomy dimensions and a grandstand that seats roughly 500 spectators. Beyond the right field foul pole stands the clubhouse shared by Milligan baseball, softball and soccer teams. For baseball, the clubhouse features office space and a locker room that underwent extensive renovation in 2018.
The infield was redesigned in 2014 to include Bermuda-based grass and a turf halo around home plate. Batting cages along the left field foul line were installed in 1999. The outfield is 310' to left, 325' to right and 400' to straightaway center.
Fans are free to choose the location of their seats, whether it be in the grandstands along the first base line or along a retaining wall directly behind home plate. On especially hot and sunny days in the spring, the cool air blowing in from Buffalo Creek will add a nice touch to the enjoyable experience of attending an event at Anglin Field.
